Amtico International (2005 - Present day)

I am now working for Amtico International, my job title is "IT Analyst/Developer". What I'm doing is specifying and managing the new software development Amtico take on. This may be developing things myself or more likely managing the out sourcing of the development. I also have to make sure that the implications of changes in a system on another system are considered.

Quantum Clothing Ltd (2002 - 2005)

I previously workedfor Quantum Clothing, my official job title is "Application Developer/Support". This means that I get to design, develop and support a host of bespoke software applications. These are mainly developed using vb.NET, Crystal Reports, php, Java, Perl and VB6, that all use MSSQL databases. I'm also involved with the implementation of Sage Enterprise through out the business, and I support the EDI systems. Oh and I'm the SQL DBA, looking after about a dozen MS SQL servers that are spread out across the world.

John Backhouse Associates Ltd (2001-2002)

Before that I work at John Backhouse Associates, my official job title was "Application Developer/Systems Manager". While working there I developed web based applications in PHP and Java, that used MYSQL databases and in Progress, for the STYLEman system. I also supported the LINUX network, this ranged from making and laying the cables to installing and configuring the firewall.

Option Systems Ltd (1998-2000)

I've also previously worked for Option Systems, my official job title was "Application Developer". While working there I worked with the Progress 4GL, on the STYLEman system. I also worked on the Soft Option project. This involved developing a GUI wrapper for the character software that intergrated with the windows desktop, using technology developed by Soft Option Technologies.
